The Switches, Sensors and Controls Business Unit is a global supplier of engineered user interface, sensing, and control products to the appliance, marine, outdoor equipment, pump and HVAC markets.

We specialize in solutions for customers requiring optimum performance and value in their products.  We manage programs from conception through manufacturing.

We have an experienced engineering team in the U.S. combined with TS16949 certified, low-cost manufacturing facilities in Mexico and China.

Ark-Les manufactures switches for OEMs only.   We build to order with a minimum of 5,000 pieces, and we do not carry stock on any switch product.

Custom User Interfaces

  • The Ark-Les engineering team is experienced in developing a multitude of user interfaces for a wide range of products.
  • The user interfaces include tactile button with various covering options:  Elastomer, Plastic Button, Polycarbonate Panel Overlay, or Capacitive Touch.
  • Design options:  Integral LEDs, 7-segment displays, Piezo audio feedback and LCD text or graphics displays.

Electronic Hybrids

  • They allow product differentiation and enhancements for our customers’ end products.

Fluid Flow & Level Sensing

  • The Ark-Les team has designed and developed sensors for both fluid flow and fluid level
  • Capable of integration to electronic controllers
  • For fluid flow: reed-based flow monitoring
  • For fluid level: direct measurement from probes

Machine & Motor Control
