Rinse Aid Sensor
The Ark-Les Dishwasher Dispenser provides a pre-wash cavity, wash cavity and a rinse aid storage area. The dispenser is engineered to minimize machine cost by reducing machine controls and wires. The Rinse Aid Sensor is available in two types with a single or double stroke operation. As a single stroke design, when power is applied the wash door opens, when power is removed, rinse aid is released. As a double stroke design, power is applied twice; the door is opened during the application of power the first time, and the rinse aid is released during the removal of power the second time. A visual low rinse aid level sensor is provided and an optional electronic low rinse aid level sensing is also available.

Bleach Dispenser
The Bleach Dispenser is a time-delay model that gives the machine control over when bleach is added to the clothes. A Wax Motor is used as a valve, allowing bleach to flow only when the motor is activated.

A Wax Motor is an actuating device that consists of a positive temperature coefficient thermistor (PTC) mounted to a sealed vessel filled with a solid wax. As the solid wax is heated to a controlled temperature by the energized thermistor, the wax melts and expands, driving a spring-loaded piston outward. When the thermistor is de-energized, the liquid wax cools and the spring retracts the piston to its original position as the wax returns to a solid.
